Coffee with aromas of cane sugar and orange, as well as a balanced flavor with hints of citrus and jasmine.
This coffee comes from Quindió, this department is renowned for its fertile and healthy lands which have been fortified over the years thanks to the work of experienced farmers, their determination and perseverance in producing the highest quality coffees.
When harvesting coffee cherries, carried out by hand, the skin and pulp are removed. We keep the mucilage, the coffee is then dried with this sticky substance enveloping the beans.
Contrary to what some might imagine, the coffee processed in this way does not taste like honey, and neither is the honey used in the process. It takes its name from the fact that to the touch, covered with mucilage, it is sticky like honey!
This process uses little water and therefore respects the environment.
